Publishers
The Children's Book Council is your trade association. Help us celebrate and promote your books during Children's Book Week and throughout the year!

Promote the Children's Choice Book Awards
Each year, we offer a customizable Children's Choice Book Awards widget, making it easy for visitors to your blog or website to cast their vote.
The widget displays a different child-chosen finalist each time the web page is refreshed and links directly to Book Week Online. (See last year's at right)
Be sure your authors and illustrators (especially your finalists!) add the widget to their websites and blogs! We have noticed a marked increase in voting when a finalist author mentions the awards program on his or her blog.

Celebrate Children's Book Week!
The 92nd annual observance of Children's Book Week will be May 2-8, 2011. A celebration of the written word, Children's Book Week introduces young people to new authors and ideas in schools, libraries, homes, and bookstores. Through Children's Book Week, Every Child a Reader (the CBC Foundation) encourages young people and their caregivers to discover the complexity of the world beyond their own experience through books. Be sure to visit www.BookWeekOnline.com for more information, ideas, and materials for Children's Book Week 2011.
[Publisher] is a member of the Children's Book Council (CBC), a nonprofit trade organization that encourages the use and enjoyment of books and related literacy materials for young people. Our books from the current and immediately preceding year are available for examination at the CBC Library, 54 W 39th St, 14th floor, New York, NY 10018. The library is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
