Join us in celebrating children’s books and sharing the joy of reading during Children's Book Week and throughout the year!
Promote the Children's Choice Book Awards & Children's Book Week!
Children's & Teen Choice Book Awards
One hallmark of Children's Book Week is the announcement of the winners of the Children's and Teen Choice Book Awards, the only national book awards program where the winning titles are selected by young readers of all ages. Voting will be open from Tuesday, March 17 through Sunday, May 3 at ccbookawards.com.
- Each year, we offer a digital toolkit, containing everything you need to get the word out about Children's Book Week and the Children's Choice Book Awards.
- This year, we've partnered with DOGO Books to offer a voting widget that can be embedded directly on your house's site or your finalist author or illustrator's. Stay tuned!
Be sure your authors and illustrators (especially your finalists!) post these resources on their sites and social media! There is a marked increase in votes for those who do.
Winners will be announced during Children's Book Week.

Established in 1919, Children's Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, commemorative events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes -- wherever young readers and books connect!
Children's Book Week is administered by Every Child a Reader, a 501(c)(3) literacy organization dedicated to instilling a lifelong love of reading in children. The Children's Book Council, the national non-profit trade association for children's book publishers, is an anchor sponsor.
